Professional trapper Gary Jepson, said to be one of the “best in the business” by Fur Takers of America, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996, and received the American Heritage Award in 1990. He was also inducted into the North Dakota Trapper’s Hall of Fame in 2009. He has been an instructor at the Fur Takers Trappers College hosted by Purdue University since 1993-1994.
